July Outreach Program - World Population Day at Dindugul Medical College and Hospital by Dr. D. GEETHA MD DGO secretary OGSSI.

July Outreach Program - Health Awareness Camp for TRANSGENDER's on 05.07.2021 by Dr. D. GEETHA at Dindugul Medical College and Hospital.

Around 80 transgenders attended the camp. Basic screening test like Blood Hb, sugar test, BMI done. Health awareness talk about NCD - non communicable diseases, awareness on covid vaccination and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases taken. Counselling and motivational speech given to enhance their mental health too.

Free Cervical Cancer Screening Camp Outreach Program 23-02-2021

Free cervical cancer screening camp conducted by Firm Hospitals along with OGSSI. Camp was inaugurated by OGSSI President Dr Vijayalkshmi Seshadri. Screened 41 women with free Pap smear .

National deworming Day 10-02-2021

Anemia Quiz conducted for post graduates at ISO KGH, Triplicane in view of "National Deworming Day" on 10 th February 2021. Awareness about anemia, importance of deworming every 6 months and government programs in anemia control emphazised in meeting.
