It is indeed satisfying, rather gratifying that in the 91st year of OGSSI I am given the onerous task of leading it from the front! Thanks to all members, seniors and past EC members for having reposed their faith in me and allowed me to grow from an EC member in the year 2001 to Presidentship in 2025.

1934 - the year saw the genesis of OGSSI, the First official OG professional body in India had been the nest for very many doyens and stalwarts over the years and continues to be the nursery bed for many more future leaders!

This year’s official theme ‘Ilamai mudhal Mudhumai varai’ vivaciously captures the very essence of our being as Ogcians! Starting from adolescence our service to the society revolves around every phase of womanhood till menopause and beyond.

This is the first NEWSLETTER for the Presidential year 2025-26. It is my proud privilege and honour to connect with you all through this communique.

The team, OGSSI’25 is young and energetic, full of verve and vigour to showcase their talents and contribute their might to OGSSI – all these will be evident in the days to come.

As always, dear friends and sister members give us your helping hands - partake in the programs, attend in large numbers and share your thoughts and suggestions to make OGSSI even bigger, better and brighter! We can make it happen – Together we can! And, we shall!
